Luis Alvarado is driven by the belief that effective financial planning is not just about accumulating wealth, but about providing clarity, confidence, and direction through life’s most important transitions. He is passionate about helping individuals and business owners align their financial decisions with their values, family priorities, and long-term vision so they can move forward with intention and assurance.

He delivers this through a holistic and relationship-based planning process that brings all aspects of a client’s financial life together. By integrating retirement income planning, business succession considerations, and estate strategies into a cohesive framework, Luis helps clients navigate complexity and make informed decisions at every stage. His approach balances strategic foresight with practical solutions, grounded in meaningful conversations and tailored to each client’s personal and professional circumstances.

As a Financial Consultant, he holds the Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC®), Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU®), and Retirement Income Certified Professional (RICP®) designations from The American College of Financial Services. He was recognized by Equitable Advisors as a Retirement Planning Specialist after earning a Certificate in Retirement Planning from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, along with completing an advanced certificate program in Asset Allocation and Wealth Management at Harvard University. Luis earned both his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in business administration from Florida International University and St. Thomas University, further strengthening his academic and professional foundation.

Committed to service beyond his practice, Luis serves on the Board of the Coral Gables Estate Planning Council as Vice President and President Elect for the 2026 to 2027 term. He is also a Diplomat and active member of the Coral Gables Chamber of Commerce. Outside of work, he starts his mornings practicing Brazilian jiu jitsu to stay focused and disciplined, enjoys classical guitar, and values time spent traveling with his family, particularly to the Caribbean, where he enjoys long walks on the beach and snorkeling in clear waters.
